Galaxy® Hops – Add Peach Flavor To Beer
Galaxy® Hop Profile
Galaxy® hops are currently one of the most sought-after hop varieties in the world. Galaxy® hops are prized for their big aromas of peach, guava, and oranges. Galaxy® hops are perfect in hazy IPAs and works well with the usual suspects of Citra® and Mosaic®.
In 2021 Galaxy® accounted for over 60% of pounds yielded from Australia.
Galaxy’s average oil content for the 2021 harvest was 3.6mL/100grams against a historical average of 3.1 mL/100grams. That’s up over 16% and is going to make for some juicy, sticky brews!

EXAMPLES OF BEERS BREWED WITH GALAXY® HOPS
Brewers at Langunitas use Galaxy, Citra, Loral 291, and Hallertau Blanc together to create the murkiest hazy. Brewers notice a peach aroma and we’re hearing from home brewers that those wanting to add peach flavor to their beer use a healthy dose of Galaxy Hops.
Brewers at Reubens use Galaxy in a single hop hazy.
Brewers at Breakside use Galaxy, Comet, and El Dorado together to achieve a tropical summery goodness.
